Java Plug-In 10.25.2 Is Not Installed Properly

Today I tried to access a website which I have no problem accessing previously. I was greeted with a pop-up message “Java plug-in 10.25.2 is not installed properly”.  I clicked OK and the next pop-up message “Java Plug-in Warning – Applet(s) in this HTML page requires a version of Java different from the one the browser is currently using. In order to run the applet(s) in this HTML page, a new browser session is required. Close all the Netscape browser sessions and start a new browser session to run the HTML page” appeared.  I clicked OK and the message “Java plug-in detected JRE collision” was shown on the page.

After trying the numerous suggested solutions found in the internet, the problem was resolved by performing the following steps:
1.     Click Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program and found the belowmentioned Java programs installed:

Java 7 Update 25
Java SE Runtime Environment 6.0

2.     Uninstall all the Java programs found and restart the computer.

3.     Re-install Java 7 Update 25 and restart the computer.

I am able to access the website with any error messages after that.
