I have a Hyper-V host with 4 virtual machines (VMs) running. One of the VMs goes into “Paused-Critical” state suddenly. When I resume the VM, it is able to resume successfully. The problem is that the VM will goes into the “Paused-Critical” state again and again.
Did a search on the internet and came across this article:
Performed a check on the local disk C: drive of the Hyper-V host and found that the available free space is only 149 MB. Deleted away some unwanted log files in the C: drive and managed to get about 1.30 GB free space.
Resume the VM again and it does not go into the “Paused-Critical” state anymore.
